He tightened and strengthen his royal rule in upper Egypt by;
1/He appointed his second son (Iuput 1st)
As a high priest of amun , and amilitary governor of upper Egypt
2/He en couraged marriage of his family with theban notables .
3/He appointed and installed his son (nimlot) as a commander at
heiraklopolis near al-fayum.
The end of( sheshonq 1st ):
To celebrate his war in Palestine he founded the bobastite gate at
karnak
2/sheshonq I made an alliance and a treaty with the king of Byblos at Phoenicia
by sending
A statue to which the king added his name and that may to secure the timber through his relation
ship.
Oserkon 1st :
1/He was the son of sheshonq 1st .
2/In thebes ,oserkon I did like his father as ,he appointed his eldest
son sheshonq 2nd as a high priest of amun and amilitary governor of
upper Egypt
3/He added a court and a pillared hall to the temple of goddess bubastite
at Bubastis.
Sheshonq 2nd
1/He was appointed as a coregent by his father oserkon 1st .
2/Although he pursued a good career as a chief priest ,he was denied the
chance to be a sole ruler as he died before his father when he was still a
coregent.
Takelot 1st :
1/Takelot,s name doesn’t have been recorded in Theban document .
2/ The system of marriage alliance designed to unite the two lands but
it was beginning to break up and the provincial regimes or systems become more
and more independent.
Harsiese and oserkon 2nd :
1/The two cousins were grandsons of oserkon I,and they ruled at the same time .
2/At Tanis ,oserkon 2nd built a court in front of the temple
of amun and contain a statue with a Stella of the king .

sheshonq .

The 23rd Dynasty
Oserkon 3rd and takelot 3rd
:
1/Osorkon was the son of takelot 2nd
2/He oppionted his son takelot 3rd as a high priest of amun
in thebes and a military governor of upper Egypt which gave takelot 3rd
a complete control on thebes.
3/Takelot 3rd has a sister who called (shep .en. wept.1st
).
4/She was appointed as a divine adoratrice of amun which gave her the
right to rule the Theban region with him ,not only but also she had taken over
the role of chief priest which takelot 3rd himself had given up in
order to become pharaoh.
Iuput 2nd :
During the reign of Iuput 2nd thebes seems to have passed
under a kushite rule .
